James is also a trustee at <a href="https://www.doteveryone.org.uk/">Dot.Everyone</a>, a charity that advocates for responsible approaches to using new technologies, and <a href="https://demos.co.uk/">Demos</a>, Britain&#8217;s leading independent, cross-party think tank. In 2011 he served as a Specialist Adviser to Parliament.
